On 4 November 2024, H.E. Mrs. Kanchana Patarachoke, the Ambassador of Thailand, met with Ms. Pernilla Sjölin, Chief of Protocol of the European Commission, for an introductory briefing on the process of presenting her Letters of Credence to the President of the European Commission, which will formalize her accreditation as Head of Mission of Thailand to the European Union. During this meeting, both sides discussed the growing partnership between Thailand and the European Union, including ongoing FTA negotiations and collaboration under the Thai-EU Partnership and Cooperation Agreement (PCA).
